Man Fired Shots At Women In Vehicle: Hamden Police

Police are investigating a report of a man firing several shots at two women in a vehicle after an argument on Sunday evening.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after two women say they were shot at by a man after an argument Sunday night in Hamden. At about 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 18, Hamden Police responded to the area of Morse Street and Newhall Street on the report of “shots fired,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that two women arguing with a man in the vicinity of 1245 Dixwell Avenue when they left the area in their vehicle. The man subsequently followed them with his vehicle, described as a sport utility vehicle, according to Smith.

The victims told police that the man “pulled alongside their vehicle” and then fired several shots at them, according to Smith. There were no reported injuries.
