Man Looking To Rent A House, Robbed On The Street By Two Men: Hamden Police
Police say the two suspects, who are at-large, robbed the victim in broad daylight. One of the suspects said he had a gun, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — A man looking to rent a house in Hamden was allegedly robbed of $230 cash, Hamden police said. One of the suspect's said he had a gun too, police said.
At 3 p.m. Thursday Hamden Police responded to First Street on the report of a street robbery. Investigation revealed that a 46 year-old Norwalk resident was “looking at a house to rent” on First Street, police said in a news release.
The victim was approached by 2 individuals, described as black males, early 20’s, 5’4” to 5’6” and 130 lbs., who demanded money, police said. One of the individuals insinuated that he was in the possession of a firearm, police said. The individuals subsequently stole $230 from the victim, police said. They fled on foot towards Warren Street.

Hamden Police canvassed the area, but were unsuccessful at locating the individuals.
