Man Robbed Of Cheeseburgers At Gunpoint In Hamden: Police
Police say the suspect, who was armed with a gun, grabbed a "bag of cheeseburgers" from the victim in a street robbery.

HAMDEN, CT — A man was robbed of a “bag of cheeseburgers” at gunpoint while walking in Hamden on Saturday night, according to police. At about 8 p.m. on Dec. 9, Hamden Police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Goodrich Street on the report of an armed street robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that a 23-year-old Hamden resident was walking eastbound on Goodrich Street, carrying a bag of food, when he was approached by a man who was in the possession of a gun. The suspect grabbed “a bag of cheeseburgers” from the victim and fled on foot, westbound on Goodrich Street, according to Smith.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build and was wearing dark-colored clothing.
