Man Stole 3 Vehicles, Kept Them In Parking Lot: Hamden Police

Police say the man, who was on parole, initially gave officers a fake name.

HAMDEN, CT — A New Haven man has been charged with stealing three vehicles after police found them in a parking lot on Treadwell Street in Hamden. At about 7 a.m. on Feb. 22, police responded to a Treadwell Street address on the report of a motor vehicle complaint, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said that while they were investigating the complaint, officers located three stolen vehicles that were parked in the parking lot of 210 Treadwell Street. Further investigation led to the arrest of David Roldan, who is the boyfriend of a Treadwell Street resident, according to Smith.

Roland initially provided officers with a false name and they determined that he was responsible for stealing the three vehicles, Smith said.
