Man Stole Vehicle Out Of Hamden: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man is accused of stealing a vehicle out of Hamden, according to police. Milford police found a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel at 1015 Boston Post Rd. on Feb. 19.

Jauwaun Edwards, 22, was arrested following an investigation, police said. Edwards is accused of stealing the vehicle and possessing a stolen plate that was found inside the vehicle and was reported stolen out of Hamden, according to police.

Edwards, of Oman Place in Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree larceny and possession of a stolen plate. He was held on a $75,000 bond with a court date of March 17.
