Masked Men Steal Woman’s Old Clothes In Street Robbery: Hamden PD
Police are investigating a street robbery in which a woman was approached by 2 men who were wearing masks and demanded her belongings.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a street robbery in which two masked men demanded a woman’s belongings and made off with a bag containing “old clothing,” according to police. At about 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, Hamden Police responded to Gilbert Avenue on the report of a street robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that a 29-year-old New Haven resident parked her vehicle on Valley Road and noticed a “dark colored sedan” that was occupied by four men parked in the area. As she walked to the front door of the Gilbert Avenue residence, the woman told police that two of the men exited the vehicle and approached her.
The men, who were wearing masks, demanded her belongings and subsequently grabbed a bag containing “old clothing,” according to Smith.
