Motorcycle Operator Dies in Hamden Crash: Police

The crash involved a car and a motorcycle on Thursday evening, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A motorcycle operator died from injuries sustained in a crash with a car Thursday evening in Hamden, according to police.

At about 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 26, Hamden Police responded to the area of Fitch Street and Arch Street on the report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said a preliminary investigation revealed that an automobile and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. The operators of both vehicles reside in New Haven, according to Smith.

Smith said the operator of the motorcycle died from his injuries.
