Obituary: Karen Conlon Wnek, 61, of Hamden

Karen Conlon Wnek, 61, of Hamden, passed away on June 9, 2017. Born in New Haven on May 28, 1956, she was the daughter of Claire E. Conlon of Hamden and the late Thomas G. Conlon.

She was a former Legal Secretary at Garity Associates Insurance Co. She is survived by her loving children; Jacqueline (Samuel) Borowiec, of Windsor, and Richard (Karen) Wnek, Jr., of Wallingford, siblings; Thomas (Maria) Conlon, of Wallingford, and MaryEllen (Alfred) Bianchi, of Orange, two grandsons; Brandon Wnek and Chase Borowiec, six nieces & nephews; TJ, Marc, and Taylor Conlon, and Alfred, Robert, and Joseph Bianchi, and her step-grandmother, Carol McGowan.
