Obituary: Lawrence K. Bailey Sr., 62, of Hamden

Lawrence K. Bailey Sr., 62, of Hamden, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the loving husband of Norma Criscio Bailey for 12 years. Larry was born in New Haven on September 30, 1954 to Arthur W. Bailey, Sr. and Irene E. West Bailey. He went on to graduate from Wilbur Cross High School in 1972 and worked for Pratt & Whitney as a machinist for 20 years.

Larry later went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and loved his job at Arden House as an LPN. He was proud to be an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 8294 in Northford, Masonic Temple Corinthian #103 in North Haven, and the Wallingford Elks Lodge #1365.

Along with his wife Norma, Larry is survived by his daughter, Lisa Bailey and her husband Dennis Landry; son Lawrence K. Bailey, Jr.; mother Irene E. West Bailey; sisters Charlotte Mcintire and Carol Meeker; and his brother Wayne Bailey. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jackson and Brooke Landry; step-son Louis Anthony Criscio, Jr.; step-grandson Louis Anthony Criscio, III; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his father Arthur W. Bailey, Sr. and his brother Arthur W. Bailey, Jr.
