Lawrence was a longtime member of the West Haven community.

He was the owner of Larry’s Barbershop which became The Men’s Room and finally The Hair Center spanning 5 decades in West Haven.

He loved his family, practical jokes, his Porsche and good bourbon. He loved to tinker with everything especially his Pavoni expresso machines.

He always told his children to “reach for the stars and you can accomplish anything” and to always put 110% effort into everything you do.

Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Larry managed his illness with extraordinary strength and grace and a bit of humor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church, New Haven on Thursday Dec. 10th at 10 am.

Interment will be private.
