The spot focuses on large, traditional-style bagels, coffee drinks including nitro draft lattes, and rotating monthly specialty flavors. Locals can grab quick takeout bagels, schmears, and sandwiches designed to make busy mornings feel calmer.
   

2. 2 Charged In Connection With Armed Robbery In Hamden: Feds (patch.com) — Hamden residents are learning more about a March armed robbery at Dix Convenience on Dixwell Avenue, as two New Haven men now face federal charges tied to that incident and another in East Haven. Prosecutors say the pair allegedly brandished firearms, stole cash, vape products, cannabis, and a worker's car, with the investigation involving Hamden police and federal agents.
   

3. Stratford fire chief is retiring after 25 years. He may be headed to Hamden (newsbreak.com) — Hamden officials are moving toward hiring retiring Stratford Fire Chief Jermaine Atkinson as the town's new assistant fire chief, with the Legislative Council expected to vote at its October 5 meeting. Atkinson, praised for 25 years of service in Stratford, would bring chief-level experience to Hamden's fire leadership if the council gives final approval.

Quinnipiac volleyball wins home opener 3-2 against Merrimack (quchronicle.com) — Quinnipiac volleyball fans in Hamden just saw the Bobcats rally from a 2-1 deficit to win their home opener 3-2 over Merrimack at Burt Kahn Court. Strong late-set play, key blocks, and standout performances from young hitters powered the comeback, as the team now turns to an in-state matchup at Fairfield on October 2.
