Photos Released Of Suspect Connected To Armed Robbery: Hamden PD
A 63-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint on Christmas Eve and police have released photos of a man who used her stolen credit cards.
HAMDEN, CT — Police have released photos of a suspect in connection to the armed robbery of a 63-year-old woman on Christmas Eve in Hamden. The photos are of a man who used the stolen credit cards of the robbery victim, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
The robbery occurred at about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the parking lot of 1414 Whitney Avenue as the woman was exiting her vehicle. The suspect approached the woman while displaying a gun and demanded her wallet, according to Smith.
The man then ran off southbound toward Mather Street and a search for the suspect was unsuccessful, according to Smith. The suspect was described as a black male wearing dark clothing.
