Power Outages Reported In Hamden: UPDATE
Crews responded to a power outage Wednesday afternoon in Hamden.
HAMDEN, CT — There were nearly 120 power outages in Hamden as of 4:30 p.m., according to United Illuminating.
“Hamden currently experiencing power outages on major stretches of Dixwell Avenue from High School all the way to Putnam Avenue,” Mayor Curt Balzano Leng wrote in a post on Facebook around 4 p.m. “Police are dispatched and United Illuminating has been contacted.”
UPDATE: Power was restored as of 5 p.m., according to an outage map update by United Illuminating.
