Restaurant Cook Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Co-Worker: Hamden Police
The incident occurred over the weekend in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — A cook at a restaurant in Hamden is accused of sexually assaulting a female co-worker, according to police. On Saturday, June 10, Hamden Police responded to a Dixwell Avenue restaurant on the report of a sexual assault. The name of the restaurant wasn’t immediately disclosed by police.
Capt. Ronald Smith said investigation revealed that Sergio Torres, a cook at the establishment, inappropriately touched a female co-worker. (To sign up for Hamden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Torres, 28, of Eastern Street in New Haven, was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond. Torres is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 30.
