Security Guard Stabbed At Condo Complex: Hamden Police
The security guard was stabbed after a confrontation with a man who was looking into a back window at the complex, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A security guard was stabbed at a condominium complex Friday night in Hamden, according to police. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Dec. 13 at 190 Pine Rock Ave. after the security guard saw a man “looking into a back window” of a condominium unit, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said the security guard, a 51-year-old New Haven resident, approached the suspect and a brief physical altercation ensued. The man then stabbed the security guard in the forearm and ran away heading northbound through a wooded area, according to Smith.
The victim was treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Rescue and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was described as a tall, thin black man, according to Smith.
