Shoplifters Swiped $250 In Alcohol On Christmas Eve: Hamden PD

Police are asking for help with identifying three suspects accused of shoplifting at a liquor store on Christmas Eve.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying three suspects accused of stealing $250 worth of alcohol from a liquor store on Christmas Eve. At about 3 p.m. on Dec. 24, Hamden Police responded to 1890 Liquor Store, located at 1890 Dixwell Avenue, on the report of shoplifting, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that three individuals entered the store and stole alcoholic beverages valued at $250.00. They were observed entering a white Honda Accord, according to Smith.

Individual #1 – black male in his 30s, 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with the word “Stadium” across the back. The sweatshirt had a large “S” on the front.

Individual #2 – black male in his 30s, 5-10, 200 pounds, wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with the word “Obey” across the chest.

Individual #3 – white male in his 30s, 6-feet tall, 215 pounds, wearing a black jacket.
