Shoplifting Incident Leads To Discovery Of 8 Arrest Warrants Including Hamden: Milford Police

The accused was given a $75,000 bond, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Cheshire woman is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond after being caught shoplifting at a business at the mall, Milford Police said. Police learned that the accused, Katherine Krukowski, 37, of South Pond Circle, had eight pending arrest warrants in several towns including New Haven, Hamden, Orange, and Milford, police said.

On August 16 officers responded to Abercrombie and Fitch, 1201 Boston Post Road on a report of a shoplifter in custody, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Krukowski, who is accused of taking $125 worth of merchandise without paying for it, police said. Further investigation revealed that she had eight active warrants for her arrest, police said.

She is accused of failing to appear in court stemming from charges of larceny and breach of peace in New Haven, Hamden, Orange, and Milford, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny, criminal mischief, first-degree failure to appear, and seven counts of second-degree failure to appear.
