Shots Fired Into Home During Food Delivery: Hamden Police
Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in which a bullet entered a home while a resident was getting a food delivery in Hamden.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in which a bullet entered a home while a resident was getting a food delivery Sunday night in Hamden. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 on Easton Street.
The resident told police that she opened her front door to get a food delivery. While the delivery driver was standing on her front steps, several gunshots were fired in their direction from a person sitting inside of a fleeing vehicle, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. There were no reported injuries.
Smith said a bullet entered the home and struck an entertainment system. Several people were inside of the home at the time of the shooting, according to Smith.
