Tonight, according to Mayor Curt Leng, the council will talk about expanding the ban.

If enacted, “this expands our parks ban to other town-owned property/areas such as outside of town buildings, farmers’ market areas (partially parking lots), pocket parks that currently aren’t called parks but are used by folks and may even have benches and related areas,” Leng said.

The meeting will take place in the Legislative Council Chambers at Memorial Town Hall, 2372 Whitney Avenue, at 7 p.m.
