Victims Carjacked At Gunpoint In Hamden: Police
The victims were robbed of their vehicle, jewelry and other items by four armed men Saturday night in Hamden, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating a carjacking after the victims were robbed of their vehicle, jewelry and other items at gunpoint Saturday night in Hamden.
Police responded to the area of State Street and Ridge Road around 8 p.m. on Nov. 28 on the report of an armed street robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
The victims were parked in the parking lot of a local business when a white sedan parked next to them, according to Smith. Four men, who were wearing masks and wielding guns, got out of the sedan.

The men, who were around 14 to 20 years old, stole the victims’ jewelry, a cell phone, a belt and their 2018 Ford Escape, according to Smith.
A victim told police that one of the men “stuck a handgun” to his chest, Smith said. There were no reported injuries.

The men were last seen speeding away heading south on State Street.
