2 Students From Hartford Named National Merit Semifinalists
Two students from Hartford have been named as National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.
HARTFORD, CT — Last week, officials from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Included are students from Hartford.
These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.
The students from Hartford are Connor Farquhar and Jacob Kuczek, both of the Hartford High School of Science and Engineering.
