Fatal Hit-And-Run Victim Identified In Hartford: Report: UPDATE
The incident is the fourth fatal hit-and-run incident in the Greater Hartford area since June 3.
HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating yet another fatal hit-and-run accident in which a pedestrian was killed, according to a report Thursday morning.
WFSB Channel 3 reports that a person was hit and killed by a fleeing vehicle at about 11:55 p.m. Wednesday night near the intersection of Main Street and Tower Avenue.
Citing the Hartford Police Department, WFSB identified the victim as being 40-year-old Lutricia Daniels of Chicopee, Mass.

This is the third fatal pedestrian incident this month in the Greater Hartford area.
On June 3, a 1-year-old toddler was killed in a hit-and-run incident on New Britain Avenue after the girl wandered out of a laundromat late that night.

Then, on June 6, two Hartford men were killed at a crash scene in East Hartford as they were standing beside a wrecked vehicle on Route 5/15.
Suspects in both of those incidents are still at large.
Meanwhile, a construction worker was killed last week on June 12 at the intersection of West Boulevard and South Whitney Street.
Local police have charged a 25-year-old Hartford in connection with that incident.
