Hartford Deli Fined, Liquor Permit Suspended: State

The state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission recently handed down penalties for multiple violations.

HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford deli/food market has had its liquor permit suspended for multiple state violations and has been fined.

According to thestate Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission, the NBA Super Deli at 99 New Britain Ave., Hartford, will not be able to sell liquor through Thursday, Jan. 22.
According to the state, the suspension commenced on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

In addition, the deli was fined $2,500, a fine the state said was paid.

According to the state, multiple violations were discovered, including:

• Grocery store permit violations.

• Conduct at the permit premises regarding brawls, disturbances, gambling, etc.
