Catalytic Converter Thieves Ravage Rental Fleet In Manchester
Police are investigating multiple catalytic converter thefts in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — Several rental vehicles were missing catalytic converters at a Manchester business Saturday morning.
Police said that, during the overnight hours between Friday and Saturday, 16 catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles owned by the U-Haul business at at 432 Oakland St. When they arrived for work, employees discovered the damage to multiple vehicles and notified the Manchester Police Department, according to an incident report.
The damaged vehicles included six cargo vans, four pickup trucks and six box trucks, police said.

Based on the initial investigation and review of surveillance footage, it is believed three suspects were involved in the theft, police said.
