MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Animal Control is looking for a home for Panda, a dog estimated to be about 1.5 years old and between 50 and 60 pounds. According to the agency's adoption post, Panda needs a household that can give her time to settle in and let her personality come through.

The post describes Panda as a dog who does best with slow introductions. Once she is comfortable, Manchester Animal Control says Panda becomes playful and affectionate. The agency wrote, "Panda prefers slow introductions, but once she’s comfortable, she’s like a meatball rolling uncontrollably down a hill. Truly, she is SO much fun and her silly personality will light up any room!"

Manchester Animal Control says Panda enjoys toys, likes spending time outside and will crawl into a person's lap. The post also says Panda has not spent much time with other dogs, but "seems interested in making new friends." According to the post, she also "doesn’t seem to mind cats she’s met through a kennel and may be okay with a dog-savvy cat in the home."
