Manchester Announces Road, Parking Lot Closures For Construction (patch.com) — Drivers and park users in Manchester should prepare for several weeks of disruption as Bidwell Street closes between Hartford Road and Ramey Drive for about a month to install a new sewer main. The Salters Pool parking lot is also shut for six to eight weeks for reconstruction, though access to the pond will remain open throughout the project.

5. 2 arrested after investigators find 5 dead dogs at property, troopers say (azfamily.com) — Two people face animal cruelty charges after investigators found five dead dogs and other serious welfare issues at a Marlborough property, and their case is now headed to Manchester court on October 2. State police say several living dogs were seized, bonds were set, and the investigation followed earlier health and safety inspections.
