• UConn Women's Basketball Announces Complete 2026-27 Schedule With Big East Slate (patch.com) — UConn women's basketball fans in Mansfield can look forward to a packed 2026-27 schedule, with marquee home games at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs against Iowa, Creighton, Villanova and more. The Huskies also face a demanding non-conference slate featuring national powers like South Carolina, LSU and Tennessee, while Big East play tips off Dec. 16 when Creighton visits Gampel.
   

• UConn Cheerleader Airlifted To Hospital After Fall At Practice (patch.com) — Mansfield residents are reacting after a UConn cheerleader was seriously injured during a Wednesday evening practice at the UConn Volleyball Center in Storrs. Paramedics and UConn firefighters treated the athlete before a Life Star helicopter flew her, conscious, to Hartford Hospital, and officials say more information will be released when available.
