• Save Historic Middlebury files lawsuit (bee-news.com) — Middlebury residents and Save Historic Middlebury have filed a lawsuit seeking to overturn state approval of the traffic plan for a large distribution center proposed at 1535 Straits Turnpike. They argue the added tractor-trailer traffic would worsen already dangerous conditions on the narrow road and increase the risk of fatalities, while also threatening Middlebury's semi-rural character. The group is fundraising locally to cover legal costs.
