Northeast Motor Werks Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Northeast Motor Werks, LLC celebrated the anniversary of their first year in business.

Northeast Motor Werks, LLC is celebrating the anniversary of their first year in business today, September 27th. In these tough economic times, any small business has a right to celebrate just its survival but in the case of owners, Mark and Molly Aunger, they have many more reasons to celebrate.

This family-owned first year business experienced success almost from opening day as a result of a well-executed business plan that identified the market opportunity that they deftly pursued, a “lean” start-up and extraordinary customer service.

Mark is a highly knowledgeable certified BMW and Mini technician and Molly is experienced in communications and public relations. The two of them made an effective team in launching Northeast Motor Werks. Business aside, they are awaiting the birth of a third child who will join their two year old twins, expected right around the company’s anniversary date. They’ve had a very busy year and deserve to celebrate.

Northeast Motor Werks, located in Middletown, CT, is an independent shop that provides the highest quality BMW and Mini mechanical services and repairs done at affordable prices. It is a trusted dealership alternative that attracts customers from far out of the area who are invested in the longevity of their vehicle. Their loyal customer base trusts Mark’s exceptional talent at servicing the BMW brands and comfortable entrusting their car to a company that operates with integrity. Molly Aunger explains their customers’ allegiance to the fact that “our philosophy is to treat the customer like a valued member of our family.”

Looking forward to goals for year two, Northeast Motor Werks has opened a specialized BMW and Mini parts department for their customers. They also want to build a stronger customer base of Mini Cooper owners. “We want to meet our customer’s every need,” said Mark.

Mark Aunger, originally from England, began working on BMW’s in the UK. Mark met Molly in 1998, while she studied abroad at Richmond College, London. They flew back and forth until Mark moved to the US in 2002, one month before they married. After some dealership experience in Connecticut, he wanted to learn more so they moved to Chicago so Mark could work for the premier BMW restoration and preservation specialist, The Werk Shop. At the end of December 2009, they settled in the Middletown area where Molly grew up and began growing their idea for Northeast Motor Werks --and a family as well -- and the rest is a happy history.

Northeast Motor Werks is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, by appointment only. Located at 770 Newfield Street in Middletown, Connecticut. For additional information call 860-613-1400 or visit www.northeastmotorwerks.com
