Middlesex Hospital offers a special, free support group to help patients with respiratory disease cope with their difficulties. Working together, a team comprising a respiratory therapist, rehabilitation therapists, educators, pulmonologists and patients enhance patients’ knowledge of respiratory illnesses, including COPD, asthma and other chronic lung diseases.
The Better Breathers’ Club is held every third Wednesday of the month, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Middlesex Hospital Outpatient Center, Physical Rehabilitation Department, Second Floor, 534 Saybrook Road, Middletown.
