Emily Meade Is A New Employee

As ABC Women's Center continues to grow, we are adding key team members to ensure the expansion of our life-affirming mission here in Connecticut. We are excited to introduce to you our newest staff member, Emily Meade. Emily will begin on November 5th as our first Development Director overseeing our headlining fundraisers, social media outreach, community impact and developing new and engaging opportunities for our partners to get involved with our work here in Middletown.

Hi there! I'm really excited to virtually "shake hands" with you as the newest member of the ABC team! Although I just moved back to CT, this is where I was born and raised so the people of this place are close to my heart. My background is primarily in social media marketing and I've worked with a plethora of different companies, ranging from small brands to large nonprofit organizations. That being said, I am excited to carry my knowledge of campaigns and events into my new position, as well as grow my skills to further the mission at ABC Women's Center. I am one of 7 girls in my family so women's issues awaken a passion in me, especially when it comes to being a voice to the voiceless and offering resources that can assist those in need. When I'm not hard at work, I love to spend time with my family and friends, as well as travel, paint, read, and enjoy good conversation over some good food. I can't wait to meet each of you! Thank you for inviting me to partner with you as the new Development Director to continue the amazing work happening at the Center.
