Middlesex Hospital will host a four-part, free-of-charge training program for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia.
The sessions will be held in the Bengtson-Wood Building on the grounds of Middlesex Hospital (across from the main hospital entrance), from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on October 11, 18, 25 and November 1.

The Thursday evening sessions will focus on an overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, including treatment and research; communication techniques, behavioral challenges and strategies and safety; family dynamics, keeping caregivers healthy and community resources; and legal and financial issues.
