The City of Middletown is joining hundreds of Public Works Departments across New England to collect food and household goods to support our local community food bank needs. Middletown’s Fill-A-Public Works Truck Food Drive will be occurring during National Public Works Week, from May 20-26, 2018 and will support Amazing Grace Food Pantry.
Help us help our neighbors and friends. Our collection will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Middletown Stop and Shop at 216 E. Main St. Donators will receive a free reusable water bottle with their donation, while supplies last.
A collection bin will also be available in the lobby of City Hall and in Russell Library, May 20 – 26th. On behalf of Middletown Public Works, we thank you in advance for your support of this critical community need. Further questions on how you can help may be directed to Public Works Deputy Director, Chris Holden, or Recycling Coordinator, Kim O’Rourke, at 860-638-4850.
