Fundraiser for Middletown Baby's Funeral Reaches $15K Goal

A GoFundMe page created for 7-month-old Aaden Moreno’s funeral expenses reached $15,469, surpassing its $15,000 goal, as of 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8.

“We are beyond shocked and touched that we have already reached our goal,” creator Heather Curnow wrote on the fundraising page. “The boundless support, love and generosity that has been shown for Aaden and his family is indescribable. Thank you everyone for helping this little angel get the proper burial he deserves.”

Aaden’s body was recovered from the Connecticut River on July 7. His father, Tony Moreno, admitted to throwing his son off the bridge before jumping himself. He survived the jump and was arrested on murder charges.
