Hats Go Off: Middletown High School Class of 2015

Middletown High School held their 175th Graduation Exercises. This was a night filled with excitement and lots of crying!

At around 6:31pm the Class of 2015 walked in to the school gymnasium for the last time as a whole. The ceremony kicked off with the MHS Senior Choir singing our national anthem and Colleen M. Weiner, Principal welcomed family and guest and Class President Tyrell Brown gave his commencement speech afterwords School Principal Colleen M. Weiner also gave a commencement speech following by a song titled “A Little More Homework” and proclamation from Mayor Daniel T. Drew then the class valedictorians addresses the class and guest and then with the final number of the night ” Unwritten” Then Superintendent of School Dr. Patricia B. Charles , Ed.D. told students to ”Blaze their own paths as future doctors, teachers, etc.” Board of Education Chairman Dr. Eugene P. Nocera, Ph.D. awarded the diplomas and after the turning of the tassel and the traditional cap toss ended the night following with the exit of the graduates and concluded the ceremony. Congrats! Class of 2015 on your graduation. Congrats to Middletown High School for your 175th year anniversary of handing out diplomas to our students.
