Judge Rules Against Nathan Carman’s Aunts In Probate Case: Report
The probate case is related to the estate of Carman's murdered grandfather.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — A New Hampshire judge has ruled against the aunts of Nathan Carman in a probate court case regarding his late grandfather’s estate, according to FOX 61.
FOX 61 reports Judge David King ruled that the court cannot grant the relatives the authority to settle with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services regarding the Estate of John C. Chakalos, Carman’s grandfather. King previously dismissed a lawsuit against Carman filed by his aunts that claimed he killed his millionaire grandfather for inheritance money.
King concluded that the New Hampshire probate court didn’t have jurisdiction because he wasn’t a New Hampshire resident, even though he had a New Hampshire driver's license and house, and was registered to vote there.

The lawsuit was filed by Carman’s mother’s three sisters, who don’t want him to get his mother’s share of the inheritance. Linda Carman, Nathan’s mother, went missing on a fishing trip with Nathan in September 2016 after his boat sank. She was never found and is presumed dead.
Nathan Carman has denied any involvement with his grandfather’s death and his mother’s disappearance.
