Lecture to focus on African American men's health

Founder of National Black Men's Health Network to speak at Middlesex Hospital

Middlesex Hospital will host a public lecture, entitled, “Bridging the Gap: What African American Men Need to Know About Health Care,” on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the Bengtson-Wood Conference Room on the Hospital’s campus, located at 28 Crescent Street in Middletown.

The lecture will be given by Jean Bonhomme, M.D., M.P.H., founder of the National Black Men’s Health Network. Dr. Bonhomme is considered one of the key thought leaders in men’s health. He is an expert on minority health, addictions, AIDS and the effect that family relationships have on men and their health.
