A woman was found stabbed to death earlier this year in Middletown.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A man has been charged with murder in connection with the killing of a woman in Middletown earlier this year, according to police. William Bigaud Jr., 37, was taken into custody by Middletown police Thursday at federal court in New Haven, according to Lt. Heather Desmond.
Bigaud left Connecticut after a woman was found stabbed to death in a Green Street apartment on June 8. Bigaud was seen leaving the scene of the incident and was identified as the suspect, police said at the time.
The woman died from multiple stab wounds stemming from a domestic violence incident, according to Desmond.
