Middletown Middle School Students Will Participate in Manufacturing Month
October was proclaimed Manufacturing Month by Gov. Malloy.

Students from Middletown will be among the 250 middle school students travelling to Plantsville to participate in “Manufacturing Mania” on Oct. 3.
The event, which is being held on National Manufacturing Day, will give students and teachers a day of hands-on learning about manufacturing and the careers it offers.
“Manufacturing Mania” is part of Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. Manufacturing Month. Governor Dannel P. Malloy officially proclaimed October as Connecticut. Dream It. Do It. Manufacturing Month in recognition of the importance of the manufacturing industry in driving Connecticut’s economic growth and in honor of the state’s distinguished 200-year legacy of manufacturing products that impact the lives of people every day.
