During the week, the explorers learned a lot about what life is like for a law enforcement officer. They were exposed to several different branches of law enforcement including the FBI, the Judicial Marshals, and the Military Police.
The focus of the week was on teamwork and leadership. The explorers met with various professionals within the police field such as mounted patrol officers, K-9 handlers, and firearms instructors. In addition to the classroom exercises, the explorers were challenged each morning with physical training. Prior to graduation, the explorers participated in mock drills that simulated what a police officer may encounter each day.
