Please join the Russell Library Job Group this Thursday, January 15, 2015, to hear a new presentation from Marcia LaReau on how to tackle the challenges of changing careers in your 2015 job search.We all know that finding a new job is tough, but finding a new job while changing careers can be even harder. Marcia will be on hand this Thursday to help break down the process of changing careers, from discovering which careers might match your skills and personality, to identifying transferable skills, and determining which careers are worth targeting. No registration necessary- walk-ins welcome.

Jean Baur, career coach, speaker, and author of “The Essential Job Interview Handbook”, will be back at the Russell Library to present this controversial talk focusing on why answering ads online is not the best way to find your next job.
During the presentation, she’ll cover what’s wrong with searching on the internet, how and when jobs are found, how to tap into the unpublished job market, and the tools you need to run a successful job search campaign in 2015. Please join us for this interactive session where you’ll get to develop new skills and gain insights from a career counselor with more than 20 years experience. Jean is known as “The Back to Work! Coach”.
