Middletown Students Recognized for Academic Excellence from MxCC
Residents join 25 graduating students with highest grade point average (GPA) in their field of study honored at annual event.
Middlesex Community College held its annual Academic Awards Night to honor 25 graduating students who have earned the highest grade point average (GPA) in their field of study. Faculty and supporters gathered in the College’s new Pavilion at Founder’s Hall on April 24 to celebrate this achievement and encourage the continued success of each graduate.
Middletown residents who received an award were:
Kendel Souza for English
Gregorio Rodriguez for Biotechnology
Elisabeth Hiers for Environmental Science
Steven DiStefano Jr. for Information Systems
Christopher Goralski for Liberal Arts and Science
Additionally, Patricia Boyd Akerberg of Middletown won MxCC’s Award for Persistence.
