PACK A PICKUP WITH PROTEINS FOR THE PANTRY

Join three local Service Clubs- Altrusa International of Central CT, Civitan Club of Middletown and Soroptomist of CT River Valley “Pack a Pickup with Proteins for the Pantry” on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Stop & Shop at 416 East Main Street in Middletown. Local Club Members will be at both enterances accepting donations. Suggested shopping lists with sale items will be available for shoppers.

Amazing Grace Food Pantry is a program of St VIncent de Paul located in Middletown on Stack Street. Amazing Grace offers food free of charge to approximately 950 households each month. All food and monetary donations are greatly appreciated and all donations will go to support the pantry to help stock the shelves during this critical time. With children back to school the need is critical to stock the selves with proteins.

Altrusians, CIvitans and Sorotomists all serve the needs of Greater Central CT with their many volunteer projects.

ALTRUSA International of Central CT is part of an international volunteer service organization dedicated to building stronger community through service, leadership and fellowship. Locally the focus is “Literacy for All Ages”.

CIVITAN Club of Middletown is part of Civitan International and has been active in Middletown since 1964. Middletown Civitans provide community service with an emphasis on improving the lives of those with disabilities.

SOROPTOMIST of CT River Valley is part of an international volunteer service organization for professional and community minded women who work to improve lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.

Last year Amazing Grace Food Pantry received 3 truck loads of food- 2,586 pound of food and $500. due to the generosity of our local community. Come join us and make a difference in our local community!
