• A month after complaints, problems persist at Middletown elderly housing complex (nhregister.com) — Elderly residents at 142 S. Main St. in Middletown are still dealing with serious issues like a decommissioned elevator, past flooding, and lingering maintenance problems despite city inspections and some repairs. The mayor says state rules limit what the city can force the owner to fix, while the tenants union argues health and safety concerns remain and wants stronger action and support for vulnerable renters.
   

• Owls Compete Against Strong Field at Cardinal Invitational (keeneowls.com) — Middletown hosted a highly competitive Cardinal Invitational at Wesleyan's Wes Fuhrman Trails, drawing several nationally ranked college cross country teams. Keene State's men finished fifth and women fourth, with multiple runners setting personal bests and the women edging a higher-ranked WPI squad, giving local fans a preview of strong collegiate racing on their home course.
