"Various Viewpoints" at Zahn Gallery

A new exhibit entitled, “Various Viewpoints,” at The Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery at the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center, will feature selected works from the Marshview Artists.

The exhibit runs from January 12 through March 17, 2017, with an artists’ reception on Thursday, January 19 from 6 to 8 p.m., which is open to the public. The Zahn Gallery is located at 250 Flat Rock Place, Westbrook.

The Marshview Artists are a group of active seniors who meet once a week at the Old Saybrook Estuary to paint, share ideas and socialize. The artists have been painting for several years and work in watercolors and water-based oils. Several are elected members of local art societies and their work has been shown throughout the shoreline.

The Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery features rotating exhibitions of work by local professional, amateur and student artists. The gallery is open to the public during regular business hours. For information on the Gallery, call 860-358-6200 or go to www.middlesexhospital.org/zahngallery.
