This Weekend at The Buttonwood Tree

It’s another wonderful weekend at The Buttonwood Tree! Friday, we’re bringing in a group of astounding, veteran artists from Europe led by Joe Fonda who play together as The Nu Band (with special guest Erhard Hirt). Saturday we’ll be closed for the Fourth, but Sunday will see The Great Make Believe Society Improv return to The Buttonwood for an evening of laughter and fun!

The Nu Band, Led by Joe Fonda

The Nu Band is a sparkling, dynamic group of pros – all of whom lead a number of groups, play and record with a variety of world-class musicians, and compose. They’ve played across the US and around the world in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Leichtenstein… and now they’re bringing their music to the Buttonwood’s stage! This concert is filled with Jazz and music improvisation as a result of sparks inspired by the meeting of the two. Come be surprised!
