Wesleyan University Associate Professor Sues School Over Sexual Harassment Complaint
The lawsuit was filed in federal court.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - Wesleyan University associate professor Lauren Caldwell has filed a federal lawsuit against the school alleging that the university inadequately handled a sexual harassment complaint she made against another faculty member.
The Middletown Press reports that Caldwell filed a sexual harassment complaint against Andrew Curran, who was her superior as Dean of Arts and Humanities from 2012 to 2014 when he allegedly made sexual remarks to her.
Caldwell's federal lawsuit alleges she was discriminated against after filing the complaint.
