Obituary: Barbara Hanson, 82, of Milford

MILFORD, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Barbara Hanson, age 82, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Robert Hanson, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Barbara was born in Mount Vernon, NY on February 28, 1938 to the late Franklin and Mildred Breese Pratt.

Barbara worked at Bic Pen for many years in Milford, where she met her best friend and sister Patti Tichy.

Survivors include her children: Lori Foncello of Stratford, Robert Hanson Jr. of Milford, Lindy Smith of Milford and Kenneth Hanson of Milford, two grandchildren, Amy Foncello of Milford and Melissa Tanner of Indiana and four great-grandchildren; Anthony Britto, David, Parker, and Keagan Tanner.

Barbara is predeceased by her sister, Carol Pratt-Kressin, grandson, Robert Hanson III and great grandson, Atticus Tanner.
