Prominent Retailer Plans To Open 'Large-Format' Store In Milford
A national retailer with over 60 locations in the state is will open this year at a Milford shopping plaza.
MILFORD, CT — AutoZone will be opening a store in Milford. The location is planned for the Turnpike Square shopping plaza.
Ricardo Sims, of Constitution Credit, said the store will fill existing vacancies, including a former bakery and former sports bar.
The AutoZone location will be a large-format store at 28,000 square feet, bigger than a typical location.

The store is anticipated to open in September.
The building is owned by Constitution Credit, a private credit investor.

Arts and crafts store Michael's, Sally Beauty, and Domino's pizza are some of the existing tenants at the shopping center, according to a LoopNet listing.
AutoZone has been around for 43 years and is "the leading retailer and a leading distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the U.S.," according to its website.
The retailer has over 60 locations in Connecticut, with another store in Milford at 875 Bridgeport Ave.
