World of Beer in Milford to Feature 500 Bottles, 60 Rotating Taps
A total of 100 people will be employed at the new location and a weekend menu that includes a BEERunch special.

MILFORD, CT - With a database of more than 28,000 beers from around the globe, World of Beer, Inc. (WOB), will open a new tavern in Milford on April 25 in the Connecticut Post Mall at 1201 Boston Post Road.
With over 500 bottles, 60 rotating taps, a cask engine and an infusion tower, WOB invites guests on a journey to discover the best in local and international beers, according to a news release from the company.
With locations in both West Hartford and Stanford, the expanding tavern franchise currently operates more than 75 taverns in 21 states. WOB-Milford will employ about 100 people.

“Our goal is to provide our guests with a one-of-a-kind World of Beer experience they won’t find anywhere else,” said Troy Livingston, WOB-Milford general manager said in a statement. “Whether you’re a passionate beer lover or simply looking for a friendly place to gather for great casual food and a drink, we hope to see you here.”
World of Beer-Milford offers a daily homage to beer, complemented by great food, the news release states.

The perfectly beer-paired menu offers modern twists on classic dishes, such as Giant Bavarian Pretzels, a Guinness “Brat” Slider and the Chimay Burger topped with melted Chimay cheese made at the brewery in Belgium. The tavern will also feature a unique BEERunch special on the weekends with savory options designed to pair with beer and brunch cocktails, the statement reads.
The 5,000-square-foot tavern, with an 800-square-foot outdoor patio, will feature the franchise’s archetype design, providing guests with a warm and inviting interior complemented with modern, sleek touches.
WOB taverns showcase the hundreds of bottled beers offered through the windows of the tavern’s signature beer cooler, and the long bar features rows of taps.
This location will partner with many local breweries, including Half Full Brewery, Two Roads Brewing and Back East Brewing Company.
Local brewery relationships are a key part ofthe WOB tavern concept, as owners partner with many nearby breweries to offer tap takeovers, rare brews and beer education classes for the craft beer enthusiast.
WOB-Milford will serve lunch and dinner daily, and on Saturdays and Sundays will offer a unique BEERunch menu. Customers can anticipate WOB’s Happy Hour Monday through Friday that will offer select drafts and tavern shares. WOB will also host live music performances every Fridayand Saturday.
WOB Provides the Premier Craft Beer Experience
Want to know the ins and outs of craft beers or what tavern fare to pair with your brew of choice? Specially trained WOB servers complete a two-week beer school and will be on hand to guide guests through the WOB experience centered around craft beer discovery, food and beercombinations, live music and a home for every sport-lover’s gameday.
World of Beer’s Loyalty Club helps guests discover new beer styles, flavors and brands while rewarding them with points to earn gift cards and complimentary pub perks. Putting the WOB culture in guests’ hands, the loyalty program is easily accessed through the WOB app, available on iPhone and Android smartphones.

Since opening its first tavern in Tampa, Florida, in 2007, WOB has grown to more than 75 locations in 21 states. What began as a neighborhood tavern to sample great craft beers and swap beer-talk for co-founders Scott Zepp and Matt LaFon is becoming a unique cultural phenomenon celebrating the world of craft beers, great food and camaraderie.
